The Grand White Dinner - Durban

The Grand White Dinner has taken place in 4 cities in South Africa this year, and we were so excited to attend the last one for 2014 in Durban this past weekend.

The idea is to dress in white (with a touch of green) and to simply picnic together with family and friends.
Anticipation builds up as the final venue remains a secret until about 6 hours before.
The grassed beach area in front of Suncoast Casino was an ideal spot for the event.
Live music kept us well entertained.  My favourite was the Afro-Operatic Gugulethu Tenors - what a treat.
Tables and chairs were provided for us and we brought our own picnic dinner.
Watch out for the series of White Dinners in major cities again next year

    Oh Wow!!! That looked absolutely brilliant. What a wonderful City we live in. I will definitely be at the next one when it comes to Durban.
