The Kloof SPCA is housed in the 42ha Glenholme nature reserve. It is so worth a visit to see the genteel surroundings of this vibrant charity. Not only do they serve the community by taking care of their beloved pets, but they provide a haven for thrift shoppers and visitors.
The reserve is rich in natural diversity. As you enter the reserve, you will cross a small stream, which carries on to become part of the Umbilo River. The nursery is well stocked and is just to the left of the tea house.
You will be able to appreciate the innovative inclusion of some quirky vintage finds into the pretty gardens while sipping your tea on the lawn in front of Marilyn's to the lively yapping of dogs in the distant background.
